Swing Check valves are unidirectional flow valves and are used with different process fluids. Swing Check valves work automatically: they do not require external control or an operator. For this reason, these valves do not have a handwheel. Swing Check valves can be used when an almost total passage of fluid is required, although the flow rate should not be excessively high. The main component of the Swing Check Valve is the Clapet Disc that, closing automatically, allows the interruption of the flow and the closure of the valve. If the pressure is not enough, the valve remains closed; when the pressure is enough, the valve opens and the fluid is free to pass.
