Product Presentation:
Globe valves are used in a variety of sectors (oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, offshore) as flow regulation valves. They can be control valves or shut-off valves (on / off). The intermediate position of the wedge allows the regulation of the flow. Globe valves can have a T shape or an Y shape. In the T shape, the stem is perpendicular to the direction of the valve flow, while in the Y shape it is inclined. Globe valves are commonly made of steel, with possible metal coatings on the sealing parts, such as stellite, which guarantee high resistance to corrosion and wear.
